Dear Craig + minions, Having a lovely time “oop North” Weather is glorious. Miss you all Lots of love fondness. Clint

Another recent acquisition is this postcard from a colleague visiting my neck of the woods, the Lake District. Clint and I have worked together for 14 years and although he’s taken in the rest of the office it’s for me really. Those redactions are hilarious.

Worth noting that this is another good example of the latest special postmarks that have been issued by Royal Mail recently, this one for all mail on 15th June 2015 commemorating the 800th anniversary of the signing of the Magna Carta. As mentioned in this previous post, it’s a nice gesture, rather boringly executed.

The card is published by Millstone Cards with an image by Robin Dengate.

Ah yes, he’s from Middlesborough. He’d been out motoring in the Lakes for the day but posted it when he got back home.
