This is a GIANT postcard (29cm x 13cm) which won’t fit in my box! I love it though. I hope Kyle was enjoying more of the Bourbon and less of the coffee on his Mardi Gras trip. I am not in any way jealous that he went…. grrrrr. I’ve wanted to visit New Orleans forever. A note on the stamp…. this is the latest in the Global Forever series of non-denominated stamps issued by USPS; this one came out at Christmas. It can be used for any first class overseas letter at any time, regardless of price increases. It was designed by William J. Gicker and Michael Owens with a photo of a wreath of silver bells with a festive bow by Sally Andersen-Bruce. The piece was constructed by Michael Owens. Angelica Dennis created the bow.
