Jersey Boys, the musical story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, has been playing continuously since it first opened in New York in 2005. The London production is currently playing at the Piccadilly Theatre.
To coincide with the release of the Clint Eastwood film of the long-running musical, the marketing team at AKA have produced this advertising postcard which you can find in freecard racks right now. It’s a simple design with a photo of the current West End company (from left, Matt Nalton, Michael Watson, Edd Post, Jon Boydon) on the front with the show title. On the back there’s the tagline “See the smash hit musical that started it all…” and the various ways to connect with the show on social media. This is a well designed postcard that can be used by tourists who have seen the show in lieu of a more obvious PC of London. I’m sure many have already found themselves in postbags heading across the world. Mine will follow suit shortly when I send it to someone via Postcrossing.
The postcard was designed and printed by AKA with a photo by Brinkhoff / Möegenburg
